- Upskills is seeking a highly motivated candidate with advanced Excel VBA skills, for the following responsibilities:
• Review daily operations and assimilate ideas to help automate and improve processes
• Assist in the creation of VBA programs to automatically update Excel workbooks
• Help perform testing / debugging and facilitate training for new users
• Responsible for the compliance of all procedures with general banking/statutory requirements as well as adhering to the requirements of both internal & regulators compliance
• Participate in projects affecting settlement/corporate actions processes arising from new/revised business areas
• Initiate continual enhancements to productivity and quality of service in line with developments within the Hub and Spokes and with Business UnitsRequirements:
• Looking for undergraduates / fresh graduates from any disciplines (preferably in Computer Science, Banking or Finance) with a keen interest / knowledge of Excel VBA
• Previous work experience in automation / VBA coding will be advantageous but not required
• Good command of spoken & written English
• Proactive with good analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge on financial instruments such as options and futures will be an advantage but not required
• Able to commit 6 months from March / April 2016
