Responsibilities
Upskills is seeking a highly motivated candidate with excellent software engineering skills to work on our customer projects. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Working in a team to develop and implement relational database software.
- Debug software and provide ongoing support.
- Maintaining, optimizing and enriching the SQL scripts.
- Following-up and testing of the delivery / Defect Life Cycle Management.
- Responsible for production of data comparison files for data migration.
Requirements
- Computer Science or Computer Engineering background.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Must be fully proficient in SQL/RDBMS, Unix systems and scripting.
- Good understanding and practice of the version management repository systems, version control and documentation requirements
- Good command of spoken & written English
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- A fast learner and able to work independently
- Some knowledge of basic financial products or financial systems would be a plus.
- Able to commit a minimum of 2 years on the role
