ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Young ICT Professionals Programme is designed to develop young leaders in the ICT and public policy arena. Based in Singapore, the programme is open to all locally-based ICT students and professionals.
The ideal candidate is someone who is quick-witted, entrepreneurial, and intellectually curious. If you love technology and eagerly monitor developments in the sector, are good at communicating your thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing and are able to think outside the box – then we welcome your application!
THE ROLE
Selected participants will be required to assist in tracking ICT industry trends and developments, as well as conducting research on key issues within the industry. You will develop analytical skills, and learn to identify the implications of technological trends on public policy, particularly within the Asia-Pacific region. Participants will also be encouraged to take on a project of their interest, and work with mentors to develop and refine it.
REQUIREMENTS
The following minimum requirements will apply for this position:
- Fluent in English, and preferably another Asian language.
- Have at least 2 years of undergraduate study in a related field.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications would be desirable in the right candidate:
- Displays a high degree of learning initiative and a spirit of excellence in their work.
- Exhibits excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Possesses outstanding academic credentials.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
As an entry-level professional, each successful candidate will receive a competitive salary based on their education, professional experience, and commitment period of their tenure. For the right candidate, this position could lead to a full-time role with TRPC.
ELIGIBILTY:
• FULL TIME STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS IN SINGAPORE.
SELECTION CYCLE:
• ROLLING THROUGH THE YEAR; PREFERRED START PERIOD IS JULY.
COMMITMENT:
• 3 - 9 MONTHS (A MIX OF FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME WORKING ARRANGEMENTS IS POSSIBLE).
