Asia Pacific Infant and Young Child Nutrition Association – Public Affairs Intern

The Association of Infant & Young Child Nutrition Association (APIYCNA) is a not-for-profit organization set up with the mission of improving the nutritional well-being of infants and young children throughout the Asia Pacific region. APIYCNA fulfills its mission by supporting common objectives and encouraging dialogue with external stakeholders and thought leaders including healthcare professionals, government bodies, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.
Formed in the year 2010 and headquartered in Singapore, APIYCNA comprises of seven member companies who have a global presence in nutrition products. These include Abbott Nutrition, Danone Asia Pacific, Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited, FrieslandCampina, Nestle Nutrition, Mead Johnson Nutrition and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (Pfizer).

·         Basic research and media monitoring on developments related to or have potential impact on the infant, young child and maternal nutrition industry to maintain a current knowledge base

·         Assist in the research and preparation for position papers

·         Coordinate arrangements for meetings and teleconferences and the production and distribution of materials

·         Handle routine calls and public inquiries
