Job Description
Main Responsibilities
Working with project directors and other team members to:

• Contribute to company positive revenue performance through engaging online user experiences;
• Use proven user-centric design principles in the creation of new user interfaces;
• Own the end-to-end design process and deliverable set (including wireframes, mockups, and development) with frequent iteration and evolution of design solutions;
• Base design solutions on well-researched use cases, process flows and wireframes, in full knowledge of interaction behaviors;
• Work collaboratively client partners and project directors from conceptualization through design to implementation;
• Identify opportunities for innovation of new UX concepts across multiple Web sites and mobile;
• Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in and acting upon usability testing, and interpreting and acting upon analytics data;
• Define, maintain and enforce UI design best practices in accordance with GEE Global and client partners’ brand standards; and,
• Manage multiple projects and priorities, and proactively communicate relevant project information/status to appropriate team member or client partner, and resolve conflicts through constructive interaction with team members.
To be successful in this position, associates should be ready to take on an entrepreneurial role in a high-energy environment, with a willingness to commit to simply getting the job done right. An innate passion about design as it translates to UX/UI; variety of styles and polished, fresh designs; and a craft to translate the latest industry trends and best practices into simple, intuitive online and mobile experiences.
Requirements
• One to 3 year(s) of experience or innate self-taught ability in UX/UI, Web development and mobile and responsive design; visual design experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong understanding of UX, human interaction and user-centered design principles.
• High degree of knowledge working in HTML(5), CSS(3) and JavaScript; familiarity with HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery a plus, but not required.
• Ability to figure out / work across various CMS platforms from WordPress, Magento, Prestashop, Expression Engine, to name a few.
• Knowledge of open-source systems such as Ruby or Joomla, and other technical and design programs such as PHP, SAP, or .NET, a plus but not required.
• High performance under pressure, producing quality output to deadline, within a fast-paced development environment.
