- Job Description
- Fuji Xerox will be conducting data analytics projects capitalizing on data it has on its business and products. An internal study is conducted to identify existing source of data, and the potential goal that can be targeted through analytics. The intern will be involved in the first stage of the data analytics project, which is data preparation. S/he will:
- Acquire data required for analysis if not available yet
- Reformat and clean the data into standard format for analysis
- Identify gaps or anomalies in data obtained
- Perform tasks to remove / note gaps and anomalies
- Document steps required to standardize the data / automate the preparation
The tasks will be performed primarily via Microsoft Excel, and involve handling data up to more than 10,000 rows.
If the intern displays the necessary aptitude, the intern can also assist partially in the second stage, which is data analysis, by performing basic scripting and documentation of procedures.
