Job Description
The intern will have the privilege to understudy with hands on practise on the complex payroll function within DKSH Singapore. The scope covers the following

  • Co-ordinate & Manage the entire payroll function of Singapore entity
  • Assist with administering payrolls ( month end consolidation and processing support as required)
  • Checking & auditing of all payrolls of Singapore, ensuring legislative and compliance.
  • Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and terminations are accurate and timely paid
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners to review staff appointments, remuneration, conditions of service , cessation of service and other relevant matters as and when required
  • Ensure payroll systems are set-up to reflect the current employee base, including wages, sick, vacation, no pay leave on line with contracts and Union Collective Labor Agreement
  • Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including monthly, quarterly or yearly for necessary bodies within and outside the Company
  • Calculation, payment and administration of employees’ tax
  • Administration of all superannuation contributions
  • Preparation and reconciliation of monthly General Ledger Wage journals
  • Preparation and reconciliation of all payment summaries
Period: 3 months internship + Conversion to Permanent Position
