Two Bakers Pte Ltd – Cuisine Kitchen Cook

Nestled in the hippie enclave of Horne Road, Two Bakers is an artisanal bakery cafe that serves both handmade pastries as well as a selection of savoury food made from scratch. 

To assist Head Chef with the task below:

1. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
2. Participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, etc. in accordance with specified menus. 
3. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
4. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
5. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
6. Ad hoc task such as ensuring that leftover food is stored properly, performing kitchen maintenance tasks such as emptying the trash and washing dishes  to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate. 
7. To undertake such other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the post and to be aware that social activities connected with the home may require voluntary work attendance outside normal working hours.
