Synaptic Networks is a new startup since the beginning of 2015 and based in Singapore. Most of our co-founders are based across China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Maylaysia. Our industry focus is on education where we are using the latest technology, working with top of the class content providers, and enthusiastic yet innovative coaches to address the current market needs or gaps globally for adults and kids who crave something more wholistic, practical, and interactive learning at one's own pace with convenience.
This year, we have a tight development schedule after formulating our grand plan and foraging strategic partnerships last year. Our goal is to build, develop, and roll out to Asia Pacific market first our program offering through our web portal and this is the area where we would need technical help as well as students with good design and marketing sense to join our growing team.
Job Description
To be a successful candidate to join our passionate and dynamic team must possess the following traits and technical skills:
Traits:
1. Passionate about the ever changing technology and latest gadgets
2. Independent thinker but also able to perform as a contributing team player
3. Able to communicate effectively, share ideas constructively, and accept comments or feedback gracefully
4. Able to work accordingly to project timeline and be responsible for the quality of work
5. A self starter to analyze and deduce as well as be able to improvise to think outside the box and be a problem solver
6. Energetic, fun loving, not afraid to try and fail fast
Technical:
1. Fluent in most common web development and scripting languages such as WordPress, java, vb, perl, etc.
2. Experience in object and relation database programming
3. Experience working in agile environment
4. Experience with multimedia and video conferencing such as YouTube, Skype, etc.
5. App development in iOS or android
