Job Description
SPRIM is seeking for a full time food Regulatory Affairs Assistant to provide regulatory support for the F&B industries in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regulatory support through desktop research to understand the regulations in various countries
• To ensure regulatory compliance of product labeling, new product formulations and health and nutritional advertising
• Give regulatory compliance feedbacks during evaluation of new ideas and product claims
• To liaise with regulatory bodies
• Provide information on food regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures
• Monitor the development and assess the impact of new and proposed changes in the local and international laws
• Monitor regulations and enforcement activities for communicating new and revised laws and regulations to RSA team, both Singapore and International markets.
• Extract essential facts from regulatory updates to keep other business informed on regulatory developments
• Keep up to date information for subjects related to trade associations in the region
• Assist clients in their marketing and RD on understanding competitors products and product positioning
• You will report to SPRIM Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Practice Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science / Master degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry Engineering or equivalent
• Have some experience in regulations concerning labelling and food ingredients
• Competent in Microsoft Word & Powerpoint
• Proactive and self supportive personality
• Pragmatic, result oriented and organised
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Eager to learn and motivated to improve business efficiency
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
