Job Description
At SkillKindle, we are building a community marketplace to list, discover and book great classes & experiences. With our presence firmly established in the bustling cities of Delhi & Mumbai in India, we are now looking east. And Singapore is our next destination.

We are currently on the look-out for a dynamic individual to kick off our Singapore operations. In this role, you will be responsible for building our marketplace from a supplier and consumer perspective. More specifically, you will work with the HQ Operations team in Delhi to use our proprietary platform (SkillKindle.com) and deep understanding of this space, to:

• Build a pipeline of trainers / experience organizers who offer top-notch classes in Singapore

• Convince them to list their classes & workshops on SkillKindle.com, and sell their classes using our easy-to-use portal

• Activate consumer markets by developing a deep understanding of the recreational skills market in SGP - what do people love learning / doing

This role will kick off with an initial 3-month internship, after which, based on performance, we would be like to offer a full-time employment opportunity.

The right candidate will have:

• A highly entrepreneurial mindset, with a never-say-die attitude (trust us, you will need this!)

• Strong English communication and problem solving skills

• Solid computer proficiency – should be able to use email, social media & the internet for sales

• Ready to work long hours – it’s a startup!

• An undergraduate degree from a top-tier Asian college

• The necessary permits to work in Singapore as an intern

Extra brownies for

• Mandarin-speaking abilities

• A strong extra-curricular background (if you've done stuff other than serious corporate work and academics, tell us!)

To apply, email careers@skillkindle.com:

• Telling us about why you would like to take up this role, what you see as challenges which could stop you from succeeding in this initiative and if there is anything about you that we should know (good & bad) that could have an impact on your selection.

• Attaching your latest CV
