Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for capable interns to join our marketing team! If you have what it takes, do apply now! You will be highly exposed to the workings of Internet marketing and how to conduct various outreach campaigns by working closely with the Director of Marketing. What you can expect to learn:
  • How to source for marketing channels and products, assess which ones are effective, and how to negotiate such that we get a good deal as the marketing buy-side
  • Advanced copywriting: you will learn how to do personalized copywriting that is customized to capture different customer groups.
  • You will also be provided with customer data that can show you how well you did in your copywriting and how to improve. Through this, you will also learn what kinds of metrics to look out for.
  • The building of a website from the ground-up, and how marketing and content plays a very pivotal role in it.
Requirements
We don’t ask for much from you. You should be:
  • A fast learner, quick thinker, and able to adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • A strong marketing background and/or knowledge and has a keen interest in marketing in the rapidly growing Internet industry
  • Highly able to converse and write proficiently in the English language; copywriting is a plus but not compulsory
  • Able to identify basic factors affecting traffic growth and conversion rates of marketing materials and suggest ways to improve it
You may also, but need not, be (rest assured we will not assess you based on these):
  • Equally proficient in the Mandarin language
  • A social media junkie who understands how marketing and content on social media should work
