- Responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated interns to join our team! Individual must be highly collaborative and have ability that spans all areas of the back-end development process. You will get to gain hands-on experience in:- Database optimisation and construction using the latest cutting technologies.
- Collaborating with business team to deliver solutions and vendor system integration.
- Assisting in developing methodologies, standards and best practices for the group
- Researching and recommending appropriate technologies for further econsystem streamlining
- Conducting code walkthroughs and quality assurance with development teams
- Managing and owning the admin side of the website; the main custodian of the admin interface
Requirements
Key requirements- Able to develop features for the website on backend terminals
- Working experience coding features in PHP connecting to a storage/cache layer in MySQL / Memcached
- Experience working with frontend engineers for integration of features
- Collaborate on finding and fixing bugs, and scalability/optimisation issues
- Help automate, maintain and enhance our internal reporting & administration tools
Good to have, but not compulsory- Experience working using PHP frameworks (Codeigniter preferred)
- Experience working with agile methodologies and practices
- Experience on frontend development, responsive website and CSS3 animations
