You will assist and support the Developers in the following tasks:

• Research and analyse the use of the PSNR (peak-signal-to-noise-ratio) and SSIM (structural similarity index measure)

• Analyse and compare the two well-known objective image quality metrics: PSNR and SSIM

• Conduct experimental study using measurement devices to evaluate the relationship between the two metrics on different tests streams

• Prepare test reports to explain the findings and how the two metrics can be utilized at the same time for video quality analysis

• RF and Functional Test Case design and Implementation according to conformance test specification for broadcast standard

• Study and Understand the specifications for the test cases

• Design the test program according to procedure

• Perform the test manually using test instruments like signal generator and analyser connected to Device Under Test (TV)

• Implement the test cases using the software platform in C#/ C++

• Understand the organizational structure of the company
