Business Associate intern – Singapore HQ

Are you ready to work for a vibrant, dynamic and challenging Internet company? Rakuten, the Japanese e-commerce super star, is currently hiring Marketing interns at its Singaporean headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Drive your own project with input from the team, present results and make recommendations.

• Develop new collateral using industry, marketing, and third-party research.

• Apply your analytical and creative skills to improve internal processes and provide outstanding support to internal or external client groups or users.

• Develop smart, integrated, research-based proposals and presentations to enhance Rakuten's reputation with clients as a consultant and partner.

• Create tools or automate workflows in order to increase efficiency and liaise with cross-functional teams to scale new processes, measure impact and make adaptations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Students with a Bachelors / Masters degree in progress. To be eligible, students need to return to full-time education after the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internships in account management, marketing, customer services, sales or consulting.

• Superior analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues and strong project management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

• Hands-on approach and the willingness to take responsibility and to make an impact.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

• Fluency in English.
