OpenHouse – Drupal / Php Developer (Junior)

This position is located in Singapore. Only candidates located in Singapore should apply.

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Drupal Developer to join our team to disrupt the online real estate industry.

·       Solid understanding of modern web development, architecture and web structure from design to backend app integration to server side.

·       Experience with object-oriented programing

·       Bachelor’s Degree in computing or relevant field, or relevant freelance experience.

Having these is a bonus, and will make for a smoother transition into the team. But we are more than happy for you to pick them up on the way with us.

·       Drupal 7, PHP, HTML5/CSS3/JS, JQuery and other front-end related skills: SASS/SCSS, responsive

·       Experience working with frameworks like Bootstrap/Foundation

·       Knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodology. Experience with JIRA Agile is a plus

·       Active participation and contribution on Drupal.org is a bonus.

·       Fluent with Git and Git-based workflow

·       Knowledge of Amazon Cloud Infrastructure

·       Strong hands-on individual contributor with management potential.

·       Experience leading a team is a plus

·       Able to create custom modules in Drupal (7 and above) that plays well with other modules

·       Able to create custom themes for Drupal (7 and above)

·       Database schemas

·       Knowledge of Entity API, Field API

·       Design and implement custom Drupal modules

·       Communicate and work with designers to implement theming from design team.

·       Diagnose and fix issues on live site

·       Design and generate reports based on business requirements

·       Create and perform UAT's 

·       Implement automated testing

·       You indulge in little coding experiments just to have fun.

·       You spend time refactoring and commenting your code because you understand that “I’ll come back to this next time” never happens.

·       When faced with an issue, you know when is right time to read the manual, google, or ask a peer.
