Mobile Movies harnesses the power of entertaining movies to attract entire rural communities, and then leverages these engaging contact points to improve lives. Our platform provides non-profit organizations and positive companies an effective means to engage rural communities via collecting data, spreading educational messages and affecting behavior change.

MOAR! is a mobile app for iOS and Android that lets people earn a few extra dollars as they go about their daily routines. It’s easy and fun! Just snap a pic while waiting for your morning coffee – and earn a dollar! Fill in a survey while on the bus – and earn another! MOAR! sends our mobile workforce notifications when a paid task is near their home, office or current location. So they never have to go out of their way. It’s perfect for students, stay-at-home mums, seniors and anyone who wants to earn extra cash in their free moments.

Role

You won’t be fetching coffee or making photocopies here! Interns work closely with senior staff on a wide variety of important aspects of our businesses, including:

• managing and championing projects
• developing partnerships (local and international)
• testing & improving mobile applications
• engaging communities via in-app messaging and social media
• measuring your effectiveness via KPIs related to users, including acquisition, activation, revenue-generating-activity, and retention
• sourcing hardware
• drafting text for app, website, media and presentation content

• Eager to create a social enterprise or triple bottom line business
• Passion for emerging technology, human centered design and the rapid iterative process
• Interested in acquiring platform and product management skills
• Ability to work on own initiative without supervision or direction
• Outgoing and personable manner / good sense of humor
• Confidence in own opinions
• Adapts well to constant change
• Fluency in Vietnamese or Bahasa Indonesia is a strong positive

Miscellaneous

• Minimum duration is 2 months
• Full time only (4-5 days per week)
• Stipend provided
• Opportunity for full time position
• Singaporean citizens and PRs preferred (other candidates with in-depth knowledge of Singapore culture will be considered)
• must be avilable to interview in-person at 237 South Bridge Road, Singapore
