- Job Description
- Job duties:
1. Operations planning for events including
- Development of operations manual
- Development and management of timelines
- Implementations of event operations plans
2.Supplier Negotiations
- Confirming event requirements
- Sourcing of suppliers
- Obtaining quotations and negotiating prices
- Managing delivery process
3.Staffing
- Recruitment of event staff
- Development of event staff on0site information
- Managing of event staff on-site
- Updating of timesheets and timelines as required by event
- Proper of accurate administration/ paperwork to ensure an effective and efficient event delivery
- Time submission of required report
Requirements:
- Some experience in a role that requires co-ordination will be an advantage
- Highly organized and strict adherence to timelines and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work outside of office hours and offsite for event delivery is essential
- Highly independent and able to work under intense pressure will be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office: MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Good communication skills and bilingual English/ Chinese/ Malay is an advantage to liaise with various associates
