Job Description
 Primary objectives:            To provide administrative assistance to the regulatory function in preparing for systems audit for Excellent through stewardship ETS; migrate data to stewardship team site and provide back office support to the Stewardship Lead.


 

 Specific Accountabilities

·         Preparation and migration of compliance data into new database

·         Assisting to conduct internal audit of systems and preparation required for ETS systems audit

·         Contract administration (stewardship language in crop protection and biotech products)

·         Development and upkeep of regulated trial field maps and tracking of auditing

·         Filing and organization of files and records (hard and soft copy)

·         Assist in administration of regulatory expert committee meetings, including managing contracts and charter updates.

·         Development of tracking systems for compliance metrics

·         Assistance with management of monitoring reports

·         Assistance in the preparation of various reports required by regulatory agencies and expert committees

·         Preparation of relevant stewardship regulatory communication tools for distribution to staff

·         Assist in maintaining contracts with trial cooperators and technology partners, and prepare summaries for budget forecasts relating to field trial expenditure

·         Assist in analyzing trial data and report writing

·         Assist in reporting against permit conditions, permit implementation and tracking of compliance

 

Required Competencies & Attributes:

·         Tertiary qualifications in a scientific or technical discipline

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         Sound Time Management and Organizational skills

·         Experience with management systems and auditing desirable

·         Strong team player

·         Ability to use initiative and make decisions commensurate with job responsibility

·         Good written & verbal communication skills

·         Strong computer literacy
