A team of experienced lawyers, social media experts and communication and software specialists have built the SMC platform following an ongoing dialogue with the UK Financial Conduct Authority. Firms who engage in the SMC process benefit from legal training, industry benchmarking, improved protection from cyber-attacks and advanced tools and processes to enable them to be compliant in their social media usage. The SMC updates firms via its revolutionary FinTech platform. Once firms complete the SMC training, they will be presented with an annual SMC certificate, providing evidence to regulators, that reasonably practicable steps have been taken to ensure compliance in social media use. Customers and clients will also be safe in the knowledge that the firm is utilising social media to listen to their needs.
