Job Description
Logistics Intern Associate (4-6 Mths Period)

Logistics Intern Associate – Singapore

Reporting to the Head of Logistics you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring 3PL performance, maintain constant communication and working relation with delivery providers
  • Work with 3PL on compliance and continuous improvements – delivery lead time, processes and billings
  •  Identify and implement the most appropriate and viable logistics solutions for our customers
  • Anticipate and prepare action plans for contingencies and potential service issues – peak season and disruptions
  • Identifying, selecting and on-boarding of new service providers – design and implementation of SOP and SLA
  • Working closely with warehouse and CS teams to improve processes – reverse logistics, special projects
  • Co-ordinating and monitoring cross border activities and customs & trade issues
  • Working with IT team to enhance processes through systems integration

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business Economics.
  • Experienced in logistics / transportation / supply chain or last-mile delivery preferably in a well-established 3PL or e-commerce company.
  • Good knowledge of logistics industry & practices, and in cost & project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application, especially in Excel.
  • Knowledge or experienced in either Warehouse Management System (WMS) / Order Management System (OMS) / Transport Management System (TMS) will have added advantage.
