Job Description

Have you every wondered how the content on a web site stays fresh and relevant? Who turns the wheels behind the scenes? Here is an opportunity for an apprenticeship with a professional webmaster, working with a full team of creative art directors, copywriters and technologists. The Webmaster is the frontline receiver of daily request relating to the web site. You will learn how a website operates, what makes it tick like a well-oiled machine, and develop a sense of well-deserved pride in making sure the web site runs smoothly, typo-free, error-free.

You will also learn real-life, hands-on technical skills in the area of content strategy, taxonomy, tagging, HTML and CSS editing, as well as specialised skills for using an enterprise content management system to manage a website.

Requirements:

  • Basic HTMP, JS and CSS skills
  • Basic Photoshop skills - or willing and able to learn fast on the job
  • Good communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good work ethic and a positive attitude - Proactive, quality conscious, customer-oriented and results-oriented
