Job Description

Role immediately available within a small and friendly office. 

As PR Intern you will be required to handle everyday administrative tasks including research, media contact and database management, PR reporting and general office administration.  The correct candidate will also have the opportunity to become involved in account servicing; assisting with event planning and PR execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support

  • Perform general receptionist duties (handle incoming calls, greet visitors, newspaper and post distribution)

  • Organize and distribute incoming  / outgoing correspondences and courier documents

  • Maintain the company’s database of contacts to ensure info is up to date and accurate

  • Research editorial calendars and media opportunities

  • Support account management staff

  • Monitor Client coverage

  • Media clipping services

    Applicant Requirements:

  • Clear and pleasant telephone etiquette and communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Access and Excel is a must, PowerPoint is a plus

  • Good writing and organizational skills

  • Professional, Friendly and Diplomatic

  • Being generally technologically adept, able to operate most office equipment i.e. photocopier, scanner, printer and so more

  • Excellent proficiency in English and Mandarin; other languages are an advantage

    Background / education in journalism, communications, public relations, or broadcast is advantageous.
