Main Responsibilities
Working with project directors and other team members to:
- Contribute to company positive revenue performance through high-impact, consistent and targeted external communications of the four primary lines of businesses, multiple growing specialty practices, GEE Global’s mission and industry expertise + thinking supported by disciplined processes, metrics and implementation plans.
- Support the day-to-day planning, coordination and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, public relations and strategic communications programs through web pages, banner ads, blog posts, social media posts, to mention a few examples;
- Provide marketing communications services required by other lines of business and team units in support of client partner projects and brands, on as as-needed basis;
- Assist on internal and client deliverables, as required;
- Contribute to ongoing social media market research and content projects, identifying and reporting on trends and relevant conversations in the marketplace;
- Manage multiple projects and priorities and proactively communicate relevant project information/status to appropriate staff, and resolve conflicts through constructive interaction with team members.
Requirements
- A background in marketing, journalism, or PR
- Excellent writing and grammar skills with a strong attention to detail, and appreciation for clever one-liners
- Proficiency with a PC/Mac, MS Office Suite, and Adobe CS Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop). HTML and/or CSS knowledge are a plus, though not required.
- Familiarity with social networking sites
- Photography skills appreciated
- Creative and flexible; Able to add strategic input throughout the course of a project.
