What You Will Learn
Work closely with the Director who will impart his wealth of knowledge to you
Learn how to conduct workshops that are held on a monthly basis
Learn about the latest technologies and how to operate the newest Z-Wave gadgets
Your Task
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Host showroom visits by customers and conduct site visits to customer’s premises
Acquire customer’s requirements, execute feasibility analysis of customer’s premises and scope the customer’s project
Respond to customer’s email/phone/messaging/in-person technical enquiries of the smarthome system
Supervision of the installation of smarthome and affiliated IP devices by electricians
Provide software setup and network configuration of all smarthome, affiliated IP devices and networking devices (i.e. routers, repeaters and range extenders etc) within the home or office network
Facilitate in the conduct of the smarthome workshop
Conduct after sales maintenance either through remote access of the customer’s smarthome system (software maintenance only) or on-site maintenance (software and hardware maintenance)
Requirements
Diploma in any Information Technology (IT), Electrical & Electronic (EE), Computer Networking, Mechatronic or Robotics course from a local polytechnic
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)
Possesses a conscientious work attitude
Possesses relevant technical industrial experience (industrial attachment experience will be considered)
Possesses a good command of written/spoken English AND Chinese
Possesses strong social skills and is able to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
