- Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Collate purchase orders and requisitions in order to order materials, goods and supplies
- Review inventories and order as required.
- Provision in reviewing and track deliveries against the orders
- Able to source and negotiate with suppliers
- Able to have good communication, interaction and maintain good relationship with suppliers on day to day basis
- Must be able to understand shipments and logistics terms, able to handle shipment and logistic activities
- Coordinate with forwarders on shipping documentations
- Review and evaluate suppliers to ensure satisfactory performance is achieved
Desired Skills and Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business related studies
- Able to speak fluent English and Mandarin. Candidates who understand and speak Japanese will be prioritized.
- 5 working days, Mondays to Fridays, 9am – 6pm
- Proficient in MS office especially MS Excel & MS Word
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to commence work on short notice
- Resourceful and able to work independently
- Able to work under pressure
- Positive attitude
