Epicfoods is a family of F&B concepts that feature high-end Japanese Dining, Seafood Wine Bar, Edomae Sushi and mid-range Shabu Shabu, Charcoal Grill, Ramen, Café & Bakery. Our Group’s focus is to deliver to our customers’ quality, value and a memorable dining experience. Supporting our F&B Concepts is our wholly-owned Japanese-style Grocers. Our philosophy is a focus on fresh ingredients and uncompromising quality of the product, so that we can always offer our customers – food from the heart.

We are looking for intern to support our procurement department.

Responsibilities:

·         Sourcing new items to expand our product offering

·         Analyze consumer profile, buying pattern and forecast future trends

·         Gather product sample

·         Product comparison/price/quality

·         Contacting Japanese speaking suppliers to check for product quality and quotation

·         Translating of Japanese documents

·         Process/Filing purchasing documents

·         Any other ad-hoc project/activities assigned by immediate Supervisor

Desired Skills and Experience:

·         Preferably from business school

·         Able to speak, read and write in Japanese is preferred

·         Good interpersonal skills, cheerful and positive attitude

·         Pro-active mindset

·         Good analytical skill

·         Computer savvy

·         Ability to work independently & excellent time management
