Job Description
Ematic Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic junior level/ interns to join our rapidly growing team. We have a need for support on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-6pm and three days during the week. Weekend support can be completed at home, or in the office at your leisure, whereas weekday coverage will generally be in the office. We'll first get you started with some technical support work for our clients and then coach you up on our broader development efforts so you can help us build out our world class technology.
The following are skills and technologies that the candidate should be proficient with:
- Assist in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions.
- Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
- Understand standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on client engagements.
- Understand project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines.
- MySQL or Oracle, Javascript, Web services, and MailChimp familiarity is a plus, and HTML skills wouldn't hurt. Familiarity with customer support ticketing systems, such as ZenDesk is also a plus.
- Due to the nature of the position, the applicant must be able to work both independently, and together with a team.
