Job Description
We are seeking energetic, driven and proactive individuals who are interested in the fashion industry and have a knack for fashion design and styling to join our growing team! Job Scope:
- Collaborate with our team to research on upcoming trends
- Design apparels by hand or using a computer-aided design
- Create moodboards to outline themes and ideas
- Develop collection themes and accompanying copywriting for individual products that make up the collection
- Travel to source, select, and buy fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments
- Your designs may be pushed to production and can be included in your portfolio
- Provide assistance in styling for catalogue photoshoots and lookbook photoshoots as well as videoshoots
- Assist with photoshoots and videoshoots where necessary
- Visual merchandising of our store in accordance with the brand direction
Job Requirements:
- Relevant coursework or work experience is required. This is a highly technical role, applicants with no relevant coursework or work experience will not be considered.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or other computer aided design software
- Strong design skills
- Creative, with an eye for detail
- Adaptable to the brand's needs
- Pro-active, self-driven, focused, conscientious, responsible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in our office located in the West
- Able to make short, accompanied work trips to other areas in Asia to source for fabrics
