What You Need for this Position
- some development experience using Groovy or similar high level programming language such as Java or Ruby (https://grails.org/)
- experience with Grails or Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with data object models, object relational mapping technologies such as Hibernate
- Familiarity with database version tracking tools such as Liquibase, Google analytics/DFA- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Experience using testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Spock, Geb, and Selenium
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience with Agile or Scrum
- Development backend tools like Git, JIRA, and Jenkins
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience is a plus
- Experience with Javascript, JQuery, AngularJS, and/or Bootstrap is a plus
- Cross browser trouble shooting experience is a plus
What You Will Be Doing
- Using software engineering best practices for designing, developing, implementing, and testing new features, bug fixes and enhancements for large scale, mobile & web-based portal.
-Working as a team-member closely with other software engineers, development and product manager, along with our QA team.
-Using big data technology and next generation sequencing to provide solutions in genomic analytics and personalized medicine.
