Job Description

The Learning and Development Associate provides general support to the Learning and Development team.

Learning and Development Support

This individual, under the guidance of the Learning and Development Specialist / Learning and Development Manager provides learning and development administration service and supports the activities and projects related to learning and development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development and talent management.

They demonstrate an understanding of the learning and development environment. They are also developing awareness of the Dimension Data different stakeholder interests in learning and development.

Their primary functions include assisting with day to day learning and development queries, basic learning management system support and general learning and development administrative duties.

They display a client service orientation and react promptly to requests from employees and the business.

System Support

The Learning and Development Administrator performs a number of basic duties on the DDU Talent Portal. These duties may include:

  • Data management –basic regional data reporting and analysis.
  • Basic query resolution – basic first line user queries for functionality, data errors and system access
  • End user support –general support and training on current and new system functionality to all end users.

Administrative Support

In terms of general administration support, they co-ordinate meetings with a variety of stakeholders, including vendors, and managers and book meeting rooms.

They are responsible for co-ordinating all training related logistics which includes booking and set-up of venues, employee attendance confirmation and preparation of training packs, consolidation of training evaluation feedback.

Behavioural Skills

The individual displays strong orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery. They are reliable and able to produce a high quality of work. They display good attention to detail and are able to manage work processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Business Studies or Social Sciences.
