At DHL, we are tailoring solutions to respond to ever-evolving customer requirements in both existing and new market segments.

We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join us in this exciting journey. In this position, you will be exposed to HR topics such as Performance Management, Recruitment, Administrative functions in generating reports, time sheets and attendance, and Procurement.

Are you ready for the challenge?

What our intern will learn and contribute over a period of 4 to 6 months: 

Ø  Assist the HR Manager across a spectrum of topics which includes:

·         Recruitment: Screen applications and coordinate interviews

·         Internal Communications: Write and disseminate HR communication to employee in sub region; i.e. New Hire Announcement

·         Analyze and improve existing HR processes, policies and practices across these topics

·         Analyze results from Employee Opinion Survey

·         Coordinate induction for new employees

·         Prepare Long Service Awards for employees

·         Assist in conducting focus groups

·         Bi-monthly updates of Organization Charts

·         Maintain day-to-day operations within HR scope; i.e. generate reports, time attendance report, agency contracts time-sheets, maintain e-leave system and HR platforms

Ø  Projects may be specifically customized for the intern depending on his/her identified strength/interests. Potential projects include event coordination for our Corporate Social Responsibility (DGM Gives Back)

You can apply if you are:

 

·         Able to complete an internship in Singapore

·         Proficient in English

·         Good Microsoft Excel skills

·         Proactive

·         Organized

·         Analytical

·         Able to commit at least 3 days a week, preferably able to commit 5 days a week
