Job Description

Your Role

Your mission as our Customer Experience Intern is simple: deliver a customer experience so extraordinary, the sight of our company logo will make them shed tears of joy. You will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our customers are treated like the royalty they are throughout their entire experience with Castlery, online and in person, across multiple platforms, from start to finish.

You should be a highly-motivated, persuasive communicator with an excellent personality and work ethic. You will gain a thorough understanding of our furniture, interact with customers online and offline on a daily basis, and shadow experienced salespeople in the showroom and out in the field as they close high-value sales; an excellent primer for the aspiring sales champion ready to take on (and over) the real world.

Core Responsibilities

·       Provide online and offline customer support and respond to sales inquiries

·       Provide after-sales service to customers

·       Classify and assign sales leads to various team members

·       Present in-depth knowledge on our products to customers on demand

·       Assist our sales team with showroom viewings and consultations at customers’ homes

The Perks

·       Be on the frontline with our sales team: a hardcore crash course in learning the art of the sale

·       Instant responsibility and fulfilment as the custodian of our customer experience

·       Gain exclusive know-how on the inner workings of the furniture industry and a fast-moving SME

·       Join a multi-talented, close-knit team of motivated, smart people who are pretty cool

·       Enjoy flexible work hours, a cubicle-free office, and a degree of autonomy you’d be hard-pressed to find in the corporate world

·       We have free drinks and a ping-pong table – any reservations you may have are now irrelevant

Candidate Requirements

·       Outgoing, genial personality, with powerful communication skills

·       Excellent work ethic

·       Ambition to carve out a lucrative future in sales

·       Readiness to learn on the fly

·       Razor-sharp focus on our bottom line, able to think on your feet and thrive under pressure
