Job Description
Job Descriptions:
- Localized in-game text, manual text, package copy, game summaries, and other print materials as needed from Japanese to English.
- Edits text and makes recommendations regarding grammar, spelling, style, voice, content, and consistency.
- Researches franchise history and fact-checks content.
- Ensure that correct terminology is used based on franchise history.
Job Requirements
- Excellent grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills
- Must be motivated and able to remain focused until project completion
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be fluent in reading/writing in Japanese and English, JLPT level 2 and higher required
- Able to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate editorial changes constructively and professionally
- Computer literacy, (Windows, Word, Excel required)
- Familiarity with Bandai Namco franchise history, Anime and game knowledge preferred
- Must be dependable and punctual
