August Society is a brand of women’s swimwear launched in early 2015. Based in Singapore, we offer high-end, mix and match swimwear for the city’s globetrotters. Mainly sold online through our e-commerce shop http://augustsociety.com, we are looking to expand into other channels and markets. As the company grows, we are looking for additional team members to assist with marketing, PR and operations.
Job Description
As we are a small team, this individual will assist with numerous tasks across marketing, sales, PR and customer service / fulfillment gaining valuable insight across a start-up business. Successful interns will be considered for a full-time position in the future.
JOB SCOPE
- Own the social media / digital marketing editorial calendar and create content / manage social media channels (Instagram, FB); actively manage August Society community
- Assist with pop ups and events, interact with customers
- Assist with PR research and external communications
- Track and manage inventory across channels; handle customer fulfillment as required
- Manage website / e-commerce content as per management's directions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for fashion, retail and lifestyle brands; keen eye for aesthetics
- Loves interacting with people, outgoing personality
- Highly motivated, proactive and reliable individual
- Fast learner, able to work in a flexible start-up environment
- Adobe Photoshop / graphic design skills a bonus
- Degree / diploma in Business, Marketing, Media or Communications desired (but not mandatory)
- Singaporen / PR only
