Asian Geographic is Asia’s leading geographical magazine which showcases the best that Asia has to offer. It covers a mix of history, culture, art and heritage to current affairs, social issues and environmental concerns, with the aim of encouraging a positive understanding of issues faced in the region.
A subsidiary of KHL Printing, Asian Geographic was founded in 1999 and is today located in Bedok South Road. It has three bi-monthly magazines under its belt – Asian Geographic, Asian Geographic Junior and Asian Geographic Passport.
- Job Description
The editorial intern will have the opportunity to:
• Research and write for 3 magazine titles: Asian Geographic, Asian Geographic Junior and Asian Geographic Passport
• Write and post on online platforms like website and Facebook
• Assist in picture research for articles and editorials
• Attend media launches and press events
• Brainstorm and come up with article ideas
• Assist in writing for AG events like AsiaXpedition in April, Hot Soup school challenge in July and Images of Asia photo competition in September
• Gain editorial experience in a vibrant publishing company
The editorial intern must possess the below qualities:
• A flair for the English language
• Good general knowledge and interest in current affairs
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn• Serious in pursuing a career in writing and publishing
