ZONE is one of the leading IDD service providers in Singapore and is currently expanding its services in Singapore and around the region.

This position will allow you to be trained in interacting with customers. You are exposed to real world problems and are given the responsibilities and resources to tackle them head-on. At the end of your internship, you will be more than ready to kick-start your career.

Responsibilities:
 Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote ZONE services
 Solicit orders for services over the telephone by delivering scripted sales pitch to customer, explain service to potential customers and provide price quotations
 Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals
 Handle customer questions
 Obtain customer information including names and addresses
 Record customer details including reaction to the service offered
 Receive orders over the telephone
 Input order details into the computer system
 Record customer details and details of transaction
 Confirm orders placed with field sales representatives
 Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists
 Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
 Conduct customer and marketing surveys
 Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
 Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction

Requirements:
 Minimum GCE ‘A’ level or Diploma or knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
 Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
 Candidates who worked in relevant industry will have an added advantage
 Proficiency in computer applications such as BCS and Microsoft Excel
 Self-motivated and high energy levels
 Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
 Strong communication and negotiation skills
