Job Description
Zimplistic is an award winning product design start up founded in 2008. Zimplistic’s flagship product is the world’s first fully automatic flatbread maker. Flatbread is eaten across the globe in different forms (viz. chapati in India, tortilla in Mexico/Central America) and often prepared fresh by hand in India and Mexico. Zimplistic’s offering, recently featured in BBC’s Technology section (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20675227), eliminates the manual effort undertaken in millions of homes every day.

Zimplistic is launching the product in Singapore this year and seeks interns who want firsthand experience working in a growing startup. We operate in true start-up style with a flat hierarchy, end to end ownership and a culture of getting it done, and believe in attractive remuneration for performing individuals.

Job Scope

Managing the Employee Database and keeping it updated

Assisting in implementing HR policies and procedures

Assisting in recruitment related activities

Organizing team events and activities

Handle ad hoc administrative duties

Assists in other departmental and organizational projects as needed and as assigned

Job Requirements

A levels, Undergraduates or Diploma holders are welcome to apply

Students searching for internship opportunities are welcome

Good attitude, willing to learn about HR

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to speak Mandarin OR Malay in order to liaise with associates
