Job Description

ZALORA is seeking candidates for its yearly internship program to provide key support for the Compliance and Group Accounting departments. The intern will be a part of an exciting entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment with opportunities to work on a variety of assignments in compliance, controls, and financial reporting. The internship will include relevant on-the-job training in data analysis, information collection, documentation of departmental policies and procedures and reviewing the risk and controls throughout ZALORA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assimilate and synthesize information and generate management insights
  • Create, format and develop spreadsheets to be used to support analytical review and management decision-making
  • Conduct ad-hoc research from a variety of sources including internal documentation, government and other official sources, accounting, compliance, taxation and other regulatory standards
  • All other duties as assigned 

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbally and in written correspondence
  • Ability to work under minimal guidance and manage ambiguity
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly unstructured and multi-cultural environment and enjoys challenges
  • Collaborative, team oriented and yet able to be autonomous and self-driven
