Youth.SG – Social Media & Marketing Intern

Launched in February 2006, Youth.SG is a lifestyle and news website by young Singaporeans. We cover the entertainment scene, bring you the latest trends in town, and share perspectives on the youth issues we face. This is a space for young people to discuss things that matter to us.

Youth.SG is looking for Social Media and Marketing interns!

Interns will have the opportunity to work on the following:

• Learn how to conduct market research, collate and analyse findings

• Participate in brainstorming sessions on building and managing Youth.SG’s social media profiles and presence

• Learn how to monitor online campaigns that Youth.SG is involved in

• Identify changing social media marketing trends, and learn to explore new ways to engage our target audience

• Work with editorial colleagues to generate shareable content for specific networks to spread brand awareness and achieve marketing numbers

• Participate in the conceptualisation and creation of online campaigns and learn how to drive subscriber and membership numbers

• Participate in the conceptualisation and execution of roadshows and events

Requirements:

- Multimedia content production skills (adept with design and video editing software)

- Meticulous multi-tasker with a “Can Do” attitude

- Passionate about using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

- Good command of English

- Have initiative and be a good team player
