YK Consulting is a boutique management consulting firm, founded by an ex-BCG Principal. Our consulting work is all about IMPACT: Quickly finding and bringing together the relevant facts, and on-boarding the relevant teams, to enable sound decision-making and make change happen.

MISSION
We are looking for a mature intern, who would be willing to take part to an exciting consulting engagement, working on an Asia market entry strategy.
The core of the intern's work will be first data collection and analysis, and then putting it together into a full country analysis, and formulating market entry recommendations.
He or she will be directly coached by a former Principal at one of the top-tier strategy consulting firms.
The Intern should have business / economics as part of his or her curriculum, have strong business acumen and be self-motivated / able to work autonomously.
IMPERATIVE #1: The Intern should have deep prior knowledge of at least one of the following country’s economics, geography, language and culture: Mainland China, India, Vietnam. Being a native of one of these countries, currently studying in Singapore would be an advantage.
IMPERATIVE #2:The internship is based in Singapore, and the intern must currently be a student of one of the Institutes of Higher Learning recognized by MoE for workpass exemption
The internship would start Early November, for 6 to 8 weeks. There could be flexibility (eg: mix of part time and full time), to accommodate the academic constraints of excellent candidates

• Great capacity of analysis, synthesis, and action-orientation
• Highly rigorous and methodical
• Business oriented, hands on
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• International experience
• Ability to work autonomously
• Fluency in English and in an Asian language (see above Imperative on Deep knowledge of either China, India or Vietnam)
