Founded in 2012, Wowcart Pte Ltd is a dynamic start-up company offering single-point e-commerce solutions for businesses to publish their shopping cart on all internet mediums: blogs, mobile, social media networks, and web sites.

Wowcart, the flagship product, is a freemium, cloud-based, best–of-breed shopping cart with easy publishing plug-ins for all major social media networks, including China’s top social media networks Weibo, Tencent and QQ.

The founding team of Wowcart Pte Ltd have a combined total of over 50 years of experience in IT channel and direct sales, overseas market development, social media, mergers & acquisitions and management. Wowcart Pte Ltd will be expanding dynamically throughout the Asia-Pacific region in 2013 and 2014.

2) JOB SCOPE

Position: Web Engineer – SEO, Web Developer (Short-term/ Freelance)

Salary: $18-24/hour

Working Hours: Negotiable (no more than 15 hours per week)

Term: Approximately 2months

- This is not a full-time position

- Only Permanent Residents and Singaporeans should apply

Basic Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-driven individual to work at the following:

• Updating the corporate web sites

• Setting up primary Search Engine Optimisation protocols and documentation for ongoing management of the system

• Setting up primary Search Engine Marketing protocols with Google Adsense as well as other key networks (Linkedin, Facebook, etc) and documentation for ongoing management

• Coordinating bug reports and other protocols with Engineering team

• Overseeing and Project Management of development projects (Ajax)

• Database maintenance (MySQL).

3) REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSETS

You must have your own laptop. Wireless/broadband internet will be provided.

Skillsets:

- HTML + CSS, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX, MYSQL, Windows & Unix Administration

- Medium level and above English writing skills, for the documentation aspect of the project

- Excellent working knowledge of SEO and SEM

- Familiarity with Excel and Word

Requirements:
- Applicants with SEO portfolio and SEM campaign experience will be given high priority

- Prior full-time or project experience working with HTML, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX, MYSQL. References or portfolio will be requested.

- Ability to keep deadlines

- Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and be able to work independently
