1 ) COMPANY PROFILE

Wowcart Pte Ltd is a start-up company offering single-point e-commerce solutions for the small to medium sized business on all internet publishing mediums: blogs, social media, and web sites. Wowcart, the flagship product, is a freemium, cloud-based, best -of-breed shopping cart with easy publishing plug-ins for all major social media networks, including China’s top five social media.

The founding team of Wowcart Pte Ltd have a combined total of over 50 years experience in IT channel and direct sales, overseas market development, social media, mergers & acquisitions and management.

2) Basic Job Description:

You will be testing a Beta Application and providing feedback on the flow and features from a layman user perspective. You will write the first, complete draft of the user help manual for this application. Other duties include minimal receptionist activity, basic admin work, and management of the company's social media presence. You will also conduct simple Internet research for application competitiveness.

You must be very comfortable surfing the net, and learning how to use new Internet applications. You must be very social media savvy, creative and be able to communicate fluently in English. Familiarity with Chinese Internet media would be a big plus.

Working Hours:

Half-days, two to three days a week. Actual work schedule can be negotiated. Some work can be done from home.

Term: Approximately 2 mths.

Salary: Approximately $10/hour(Expected range of 15-20 hours/week), transport subsidised $12/week

A. First-level Beta Tester & Manual Writer

- Test Flow and Function of Application

- Log errors or bugs

- Complete First Draft of Help Manual

B. Light admin duties

- Answer main phone line (minimal)

- Take messages (minimal)

- Buy Lunch (rarely)

C. Internet tasks

- light monitoring of company's social media accounts

- occasional creation of product-related content for social media

- research major competitors prices and product features

- general internet research at times

3) Requirements and Skillsets

You must have your own laptop. Wireless/broadband internet will be provided.

Skillsets:

- Very good English writing and speaking skills

- Very good social media awareness (including lesser used one like google+ and MySpace)

- Ability to research and compile information on various items (how-tos, feature/platform comparisons)

- Familiarity with Excel and Word

- Like working independently
