In search of … .Great Minds
World Scientific Publishing since its inception in 1981, the Group has grown to establish itself as one of the world’s leading academics publishers and the largest in the Asia-Pacific. With its headquarters in Singapore and offices in New Jersey, London, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai and Chennai, it now publishes about 500 titles a year and 120 journals in various fields. Prestigious universities, such as Caltech, Cambridge, Cornell, Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Princeton, Stanford and Yale have adopted many of our titles as textbooks. WSPC is also the publisher of choice for several Nobel Laureates. The company is searching for a talented, result oriented and innovative individual to join a dynamic team in our corporate HQ in Singapore:
Responsibilities:
• To assist in research and information gathering
• To assist desk editor in the production of the newsletter (may require copy edting, proofreading, seeking permissions/copyright and managing production work)
• Liaising with the artist on layout, text and figures of the newsletter
• Liaising with Editorial Board members to collate information for the newsletter
Requirements:
• A level graduates waiting for University/ Undergraduates are welcome to apply
• Must be able to commit immediately till end of July 2013
• 4 Internship positions available
