Our support of growing markets has delivered its own unique challenges which include supporting local travel suppliers with metasearch and API connectivity, functions of which they may not always be familiar with.
Due to our rapid growth we have a number of Internship opportunities in our commercial teams managing content acquisition and data integrity to ensure a solid variety of content in each market we operate in. This requires effective market research to gain a deep understanding of the major online travel providers for the assigned market. 
Job Description
Overview:
Interns will be assigned to the commercial department and will assist in the acquisition and management of metasearch partner relationships. They will be looking at the health of our existing integrations ensuring they are delivering accurate pricing, with up-to-date information which is reflected on our partner sites. 

Duties include:
  • Identifying the relevant partners for the assigned market or territory.
  • Assisting in the development of the pipeline of potential relationships with the key decision makers of the selected companies. 
  • Preparation of competitor analysis and identification of market performance to formulate actionable insights and business drivers.
  • Provide support to the Business Development Managers to assist them to achieve sales growth and to maximise revenue generating opportunities. 
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to establish relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels across different markets.
  • Analytical, numerical with problem solving skills; understanding of and utilizing data and metrics relevant to the role.
  • Excellent communicator who expresses the facts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel and or Google Sheets.
Proficient in MS PowerPoint and or Google Slides.
Outcome:
The interns will be able to demonstrate growth or improvement in performance metrics for the given market or territory. They will be able to show that they have gained deep knowledge and valuable experience in the distribution of online travel.
