Wall of Sport – IT Specialist Intern

Wall  of  Sport  aspires  to  provide  360  sports  engagement  to  consumers,  broadcasters  and 

media  groups.  Providing  a  comprehensive  scope  of  sports  data, Wall  of Sport  offers  sports 

predictive engine and customized value added services. 

Regarding  B2C  business,  we  offer  a  free  social  sports  insight  platform  accessible  on  all 

devices in  order to  give sports  fans  an  exciting  sports  community  where they  can live  and 

share  their  passion.  Wall  of  Sport  delivers  a  second  screen  experience  with  high  quality 

sports  related  content,  prediction,  aggregated  betting  odds,  live  statistics  of  matches  and 

events,  gamification  of  virtual  betting,  social  media  integration  with  chatting,  sharing  and 

connection with sports fans.

We are looking an IT specialist intern to join Wall of Sport. This person needs to be an IT guru 

with the desire to become one the leading players in the high tech start-up scene. Interest 

in sports would be a bonus. Expected skills and experience for the role are:

- Required areas of expertise: web hosting strategies

(dedicated vs cloud), application & database development (Java, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, 

jQuery, MySQL, Zend, Symphony, CakePHP) and OS using Linux.

- Rockstar coder who can understand systems architecture, Experience in UI design 

implementation, High level of knowledge in a variety of coding languages.

- Experience in iOS and social web browser based application or game development with 

technical community database implementation to enable retention program and UI personal

- Evaluate and select web application hosting providers.

- Monitor application performance and review any application failures in staging or 

production.

- Support the marketing process by providing implementation of technical requirements for 

Internet marketing and search engine optimization.

- Contribute to open source software development, standardization of technologies, and 

evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers outside the company, releasing code, 

presenting at conferences, and writing for publication (online or offline).

- Willing to gain invaluable start-up experiences
