Waldom Electronics has been in business for over 60 years in North America and is expanding rapidly into new geographical areas and markets with a young and dynamic team.
Waldom’s role includes stocking components, planning demand and integrating programs with their distribution partners to grow Sales and reduce the cost to serve for their partners.
Waldom’s customer base is distribution companies leading to a solely B2B relationship. The limited customer base allows our multinational team of Customer Service Representatives to develop close contacts and build solid relationships with our customers.
We are looking for a motivated student who is full-time available to assist the Customer Service team. If you are looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, fast growing company then we are eager to meet you.
Responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Maintaining communication between Waldom and customer accounts
- Supporting customer related activities such as order handling, shipping coordination, etc.
- Assisting the account managers with customer service operations
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (Japanese or Korean is a big plus)
- General computer skills and experience in MS Office, Excel and Outlook
- Commercially minded and service orientated
- Bachelor level study in international business, sales or marketing related field
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive person – you like to think with the management team on how we can improve processes and grow our business
