Job Description

In a Nutshell, we’re looking for…

A Business Analyst will be responsible for providing market intelligence by querying the data repositories and generating periodic reports for the C.I.A in Singapore. This role is designed for self-starter, comfortable with autonomy, who is keen in devising methods for identifying data patterns and trends. The potential candidate is someone who is based in Singapore and is interested in working with small functional teams within a global network.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or export trends.

  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.

  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to stay abreast of industry or business trends.

  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to internal stakeholders/users.

  • Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.

  • Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications.

  • Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products.

  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools.

  • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Some experience in market research, business intelligence will be great

·       Bachelor degree in business, market research, or related field highly advantageous

·       High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential

·       Demonstrated proactive problem solving skills

·       Ability to deal with complexity and manage ambiguity

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team

·       Can work within a flexible working schedule environment

·       Fluency in English required, additional APAC language fluency desirable

·       Energetic , self-motivated, positive attitude and with the ability to drive improvements
