It is currently migrating to BIM.Vasu Chartered Engineers has 10 staff. We have an India office in Chennai, India with 5 Engineers doing specialized calculation work.

Job Title: ASSISTANT ENGINEER/ARCHITECT
Job description:1. ASSIST ENGINEER IN STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CALCULATIONS
2. COMPILE STRUCTURAL REPORTS FOR SUBMISSION TO AUTHORITIES
3. VISIT SITES WITH PE TO UNDERSTAND ISSUES
4. DO SIMPLE ENGINEERING CALCULATIONS
5. ASSIST ARCHITECT IN PREPARATION OF DRAWINGS FOR SUBMISSION
Specific projects / learning outcomes:
1. ABLE TO UNDERSTAND REQUIREMENTS OR PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY CLIENTS / CONTRACTORS
2. PROPOSE A SOLUTION WITH DESIGN CALCULATIONS
3. UNDERSTAND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: (Specific skills/knowledge such as JAVA, Adobe, presentation skills etc.)
1. MICROSOFT WORDS / EXCEL
2. AUTOCAD SOFTWARE
3. PLAXIS (IF ABLE TO)
