Job Title: ASSISTANT ARCHITECT
1. ASSIST ARCHITECT/ENGINEER IN GFA CALCULATIONS
2. COMPILE REPORTS FOR SUBMISSION TO AUTHORITIES
3. VISIT SITES WITH ARCHITECT/ENGINEER TO UNDERSTAND ISSUES
4. DO SIMPLE CALCULATIONS
5. ASSIST ARCHITECT IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND R&D
6. ASSIST ARCHITECT IN PREPARATION OF DRAWINGS FOR SUBMISSION
Specific projects / learning outcomes:
1. ABLE TO UNDERSTAND REQUIREMENTS OR PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY CLIENTS / CONTRACTORS
2. PROPOSE A SOLUTION WITH DESIGN CALCULATIONS
3. UNDERSTAND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: (Specific skills/knowledge such as JAVA, Adobe, presentation skills etc.)
1. AUTOCAD SOFTWARE
2. MICROSOFT WORDS / EXCEL
3. MICROSTATION / AUTODESK REVIT (IF ABLE TO)
